Nos. 41-47 have already been circulated

in a temporary cover as this file was in circulation.

It was decided that action on them could await the

return of the file.

Copies of the following should now go to

Hong Kong LF ref. (31):- Enclosure in (37),

enclosure in (41).

I hardly think it necessary to send to

Hong Kong copies of enclosures in (45)-(47).

Nos (41) and (43) can be put by. The

interested Departments here had already been fully

informed as to Brack's status when the se telegrams

were received.

No. (48) is the despatch which will

enable us to reply to (44) and to (2) in which the

question of these three aeroplanes was originally

raised. It is an excellent reply to Mr.Castle's

objections to the transaction in question. Before

we reply to the Foreign Office however we must

consult the Board of Trade.
